For a dedicated player, there’s a lot more than pride in a victory. The crunching of our cleats echoed through the hallway as we trudged out of the lockerroom after an encouraging pep talk from our coach. Our brandnew orange/green uniforms were cakes with mud from head to toe. With outh ourheads held high and our spirits up, we stepped back onto the field , our home turf, which was a sloppy mess from the rains we had been receiving… (read further next week)…
